Garden Fruit Chafer (Pachnoda sinuate)

Family Scarabaeidae
One has to be very careful when identifying there large Fruit Chafers as there are a few with the same colouration but all have different patterns and can vary from black to brown with the yellow.

Adults feed on flowers and fruit. They are found in most regions except the arid areas of the Cape.
